I saw so many good things this year. Beautiful scenery, sunsets, moon rises. Thousands of faces experiencing live music again. Clients returning to the stage and studio. Giant choirs singing together. Nearly every shoot I had this year - concert, event, portrait - was a reunion.
In the middle of all of it, Bridget and I bought a condo in Chicago’s South Loop. We adopted Iris, a sweet and goofy Greyhound. We planned our wedding for the third time and finally got to rejoice with friends and family one year after officially marrying each other.
I’m grateful for the vaccines, which allowed so many positive things to happen this year. As ever, I am thankful for the trust, ingenuity, and creativity of my clients.
